Lisa Gade reviews the Lenovo Yoga 920 high end Ultrabook with a 14” display supporting pen and touch, Intel 8th generation quad core CPUs and Thunderbolt 3. The Yoga 920 boasts several key improvements over last year’s Yoga 910, and it’s a worthy competitor to the 13” HP Spectre x360. It’s available with Intel 8th gen Kaby Lake-R Core i5-8250U and i7-8550U 15 watt quad core CPUs, Intel UHD 620 graphics, up to 16GB RAM and there are a variety of PCIe NVMe SSD capacities available. You can get it with a full HD or 4K IPS display. Pricing starts around $1,199.

  1. I just bought yoga 920… and it was a great mistake that i did not do a proper check on the specs. Apparently it only came with a common integrated graphic card. I thought by spending $1600, u'll certainly get a laptop with a deceny graphic card.

    Apparently it's not….

And I'm planning to use it for sketchup presentation, and probably light rendering.

    Any advise??

  2. Great video. Thanks.
Please, Lisa Gade, solve my doubt, in your video you starts descrimbing Y 920, but finish the video talking about Y 910 ? (Sorry my english is not perfect)

  3. DON´T BUY LENOVO. DON´T BUY LENOVO.

  4. You are so good at tech reviews. I watch alot of diffrent people but I always feel like you give the most unbiased opinions

  5. I see 2 physical cores.. not quad.

    Intel Core i7-8550U @ 1.80GHz + Compare
    Average CPU Mark

    Description: Intel UHD Graphics 620

    Socket: FC-BGA1356

    Clockspeed: 1.8 GHz

    Turbo Speed: 4.0 GHz

No of Cores: 4 (2 logical cores per physical)

    TDP Down: 10 W Up: 25 W Typical TDP: 15 W3

  6. I had the 920 and spectra x360. Both crapped out (sound issues plus generally buggy) and had them replaced under warranty. Have a Thinkpad now and much more satisfied

  7. Lisa you’re videos are so helpful! No need to go anywhere else. Would it be possible for you to do a video on best laptops for ARCHITECTS? Not a lot of dedicated videos for laptops out there. Love from 🇵🇰

  8. Terrible customer service, bad quality of components. This lads are payed to present this as a god given product but in reality it is a nightmare of 1500eur
