Lisa Gade reviews the 12.5” Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 260, the successor to the ThinkPad Yoga 12, and the smaller sibling to the 14” ThinkPad Yoga 460 (still sold under the ThinkPad Yoga 14 name by Best Buy in the US).

The ThinkPad Yoga 260 is a more affordable alternative to the flagship ThinkPad X1 Yoga, and it has the same Lift n’ Lock keyboard, 360 degree hinge and Wacom AES active pen that lives in a silo on the machine’s side. The 2.9 lb. Yoga 260 is available with 1366 x 768 and 1920 x 1080 IPS displays with pen and touch. It has a backlit keyboard, Intel 6th generation Skylake dual core 15 watt CPUs (Core i3, i5 and i76 available), a single RAM slot, M.2 SSD and dual band Intel AC 8260 WiFi with Bluetooth 4.1. The base model starts around $1,000, and our Core i5 with 8 gigs of RAM, a SATA3 interface 256 gig SSD and 1080p display sells for $1,400.
