Gearbest –
A hands on review of the Lenovo P8 Tablet also known as the Tab3 Plus. An upper entry level model this one has increased ram of 3GB, 16GB storage and a Full HD screen as well as stereo speakers.

How does the Lenovo fare? I find out – testing includes benchmarks, real battery capacity, charging speed/time, camera and video test.

  2. I bought two of these, one for my wife and one for me. What a performance buying from GearBest. I paid for speedy delivery but as the paperwork didn't match what I had ordered it was held in customs for 5 weeks while I tried to get some paperwork from the supplier. When I did get my hands on them, they were both white instead of one black and one white, plus they had US plugs and not EU plugs and we couldn't use them. I had to go and buy two EU plugs to get them to work after 2 weeks of complaining to GearBest. I now find that mine will not boot up, it gets as far as saying Android is starting, preparing Google and that's it. It's stuck. I contacted Lenovo and joined their users page, but couldn't register my tablet as they didn't recognise the Serial Number, despite it being printed on the back of the tablet and the box it came in. I have written 4 messages in the week since this happened to GearBest and their experts recommended sticking a pin in the tiny hole. I didn't as thats the microphone. I'm still waiting on a reply with a faulty tablet. Something that I ordered in January, received in mid March and stopped working after about 2 1/2 weeks use. All the instructions and paperwork with both tablets is in Chinese, I think that this is the reason that Lenovo do not recognise them as being genuine. I suggest if you are thinking of buying anything like this, look elsewhere as problems become nightmares using GearBest.

  3. Great work on the review of the Lenovo P8. I like this tablet a lot but I wish that it at least has Android 7.0 on it. Android 6.0 is fine if it has the latest security patch that fixes the bluetooth and wifi vulnerabilities. Would you let me know what's it latest security patch? Thanks.
