Well I probably got the deal of the year it seems, I got a Lenovo ThinkPad T420s for $90! The story behind this laptop is that I was with my friends in the city and we went into Cash Converters, and I stumbled upon this only 4-year old ThinkPad for only $90, I asked if the pricing was a mistake and they said it wasn’t, so I paid for it and left as quickly as I could, since I know it’s worth a LOT more.
The specs of this laptop are as follows:
-Intel Core i5-2520M CPU @ 2.50 GHz
-6GB DDR3 RAM @ 1333 MHz
-250GB Fujitsu 5400RPM Hard Drive
-Intel HD 3000 iGPU
-DVD burner
-14” 1600×900 Display
-Windows 7 Professional SP1 x64
Since I already own a ThinkPad T420 as my main laptop, this laptop isn’t of use to me. However, my Dad is in need of a new computer, so I think this will suit him perfectly.

I picked one up from a Lenovo Partner for $20 w/o RAM and Hard Drive, but fully functional. One question do you have the problem where the fan runs constantly?

4 x T420 computers, all woth 8 gigs of ram and 250 gig hard drives
2 x x201 tablet pcs (i7 with 8 gigs of ram
1 x t400 with 3 gigs of ram
1x x61 with 4 gigs of ram
all of them work flawlessly, and have great batteries… best paret, i payed $9.99 (10 bucks) each of canadian dollars… im am so freaking happy … 8 laptops for 80 bucks !!!!!

Could you upgrade the graphics card?
I have this T420s for 2 years now and it's been a great great daily machine. I upgraded it to 500GB SSD as main drive with another 128 GB SSD on the optical bay. I used the caddy to attached the additional SSD drive to optical bay. And also upgeaded the RAM to 12 GB. Mine is Windows 8 However, and thinking of upgrading it to Windows 10. My only issue with this is the battery life and the fan noise.
